A blogger called Lot 49 posted a sequence of YouTube videos that capture the collaborative power of Web 2.0 and a touching musical moment. A fetching singer/songwriter named Mia posted a song that got a bit of attention. Next thing you know a drummer pulled in the audio, recorded a drum track, filmed it, mixed the two together, and suddenly Mia has a rhythm section. Because next a bass player did the same thing. Play them in sequence and you’ll get a chill. My only other observation is that the drummer guy seems to have outfitted himself with the full 1980s Phil Collins-sized arsenal. Here in Nashville you’re often rationed only a bass drum, snare and high-hat. I must say he handled the meter change between the verses and the chorus nicely.
You can also find the full sequence at the Digital Music Blog, which is where I found it.

Interesting. Yes, the drummer has a huge kit and over played big time. Would love to see what some other people could do with her stuff.
Can't find anything more on her, but feel we'll be able to soon thanks to all this attention she is getting. Right now, a search for "Mia Rose" brings up a porn star by the same name. Perhaps a synchronized video collaboration is on order there also. ;)
