In this instance I totally agree with the sentiment that what the industry is doing or trying to do is completely and totally wrong.

In the late 90's and early 00's we heard a lot about how the industry was becoming a dinosaur and would be extinct. That's not likely to happen any time soon. However, for those manufacturers of Tab books and magazines, that's certainly the case. This illustrates why. Once the internet hit and home bodies could replicate the service they provided in their livingroom (something they can't do with other sectors of the industry), it was only a matter of time before their business model wouldn't work anymore.

This is one segment of the industry that truly didn't have a prayer. That they try to steal one isn't right.
